Where Dancers Find Their Voice
Identity, Artistry, Individuality and Confidence
As dancers grow, dance becomes more than movement. It's a way to challenge themselves, express who they are, and discover their own artistry. Our middle and high school programs give dancers the opportunity to deepen their technique, explore their individuality, and continue growing with confidence.
Ballet Foundation III
Sixth through Twelfth Grade
(Invite Only)
Where dedication meets growth.
With dedication from both dancers and their teacher, dancers are challenged to expand their repertoire of ballet steps and combinations while building strength and stamina. Ballet terminology is taught and proper form continues to be reinforced as dancers take on increasingly challenging combinations.
Dancers are supported every step of the way while developing their musicality, choreography, and understanding of the artistry of ballet technique.
Tap II
Sixth through Twelfth Grade
(Invite Only)
Where rhythm meets style.
Tap dancers develop musicality, coordination, strength, flexibility, and speed while exploring both musical theatre and rhythmic tap styles. Dancers build their understanding of rhythm and sound while developing the technique and control needed to make every step clear, confident, and full of personality.
Modern/Contemporary
Sixth through Twelfth Grade
Where movement becomes expression.
Modern and Contemporary give dancers the freedom to explore movement, emotion, and individuality while developing their own artistic voice. Drawing from ballet, jazz, and other movement styles, dancers explore floor work, gravity, musicality, and dynamic movement while learning to connect technique with expression.
Through choreography and creative exploration, dancers are encouraged to tell stories, express emotion, and discover how their unique personality can shine through movement.
Hip Hop
Sixth through Twelfth Grade
Where individuality takes center stage.
Hip Hop is all about rhythm, musicality, creativity, and personal style. Dancers explore a variety of street dance styles, including breaking, popping, and locking, while discovering how Hip Hop has evolved through music and movement.
Through breath, texture, energy, and dynamic choreography, dancers are encouraged to step outside the box and bring their own personality and style to their movement while continuing to build coordination, musicality, rhythm, and the ability to think on their feet.
Jazz II
Sixth through Twelfth Grade
(Invite Only)
Where technique meets versatility.
Jazz is a dynamic style that builds skills dancers can carry into all forms of dance. Dancers develop isolations, complex rhythms and patterns, balance, strength, flexibility, and stylistic movement while working on turns, kicks and leaps.
With a mix of current music and classic jazz styles, dancers build technique, musicality, and confidence while discovering their own personality and style.
Composition/Lyrical
Sixth through Twelfth Grade
Dancers will be challenged to explore more advanced choreography that blends ballet, jazz, modern and contemporary movement. Classes will focus on building musical interpretation, emotional expression, transitions, floor work, partnering, and lifts, helping dancers learn how to connect movement from beginning to end with purpose and intention.
With an emphasis on PERFORMANCE and STORYTELLING, dancers will learn to move beyond simply executing choreography and continue developing the ability to use movement to communicate emotion, character, and meaning to an audience. Dancers will build confidence, artistry, and stage presence while developing the skills needed to become strong, expressive, and captivating lyrical performers.
This is the next step for dancers who are ready to take the skills from ballet, jazz, modern and Pre Lyrical Composition and bring them to life on stage.
