NEW CLASS

Composition
2nd to 5th Grade

This class bridges the gap between foundational technique and EXPRESSIVE storytelling, designed specifically for dancers who are ready to explore the emotional and theatrical side of dance. Dancers will build on their basic technique while being introduced to lyrical movement—blending ballet and jazz styles.  Dancers will EXPLORE improvisation exercises to SPARK creativity, deepen musicality, and encourage individual expression along with musical theatre components, where dancers explore character work and storytelling through movement, inspired by Broadway-style music.
With a focus on connecting emotion to movement, students will gain CONFIDENCE, develop artistry, and start forming the performance tools they'll need in lyrical and theatre-based classes.
Just a friendly reminder: this is a beginner-level recreational class.
*For dancers interested in advancing to higher-level lyrical classes in the future, a solid background in ballet and jazz is mandatory.*
