In Motion Dance Team
In Motion Dance Team is an award-winning dance troop that consists of 8 dance teams – Mini, Juniors, Green, Blue, Recreational, Spirit, Abilities in Motion, and Essence.
Auditions will be held August 23rd for placement.

Mini Team
Ages 4-6
Minis will learn three competition dances and will compete at two competitions.
Minis are required to take ballet.
Junior Team
Ages 7-13
​
Juniors will learn three dances, and will compete at three competitions.
Juniors are required to take two additioinal dance classes--one of which must be ballet.
Green Team
Ages 10+
​
The Green Team will learn three dances, and will compete at three competitions.
​
Green Team dancers must take a minimum of 3 classes, one of which must be ballet.
Blue Team
Ages 13+
The Green Team will learn three dances, and will compete at three competitions.
​
Green Team dancers must take a minimum of 3 classes, one of which must be ballet.
Recreational Team
Ages 7+
The Rec Team will learn two dances and will compete in two local competitions. The Rec Team does not compete at a national level.
Rec team dancers are required to take one additional dance class of their choice.
Spirit Team
Spirit is a highly focused and competitive dance team for our advanced dancers.
Spirit dancers will learn a minimum of five dances, and will compete in at least four competitions.

Spirit dancers are required to take a minimum of three classes--one of which must be ballet.
Abilities in Motion
This team is for dancers with disabilities. This is a great opportunity for your dancer to compete with friends and families! Accommodations, including changing of level of music and physical accommodations, will be discussed with the competition prior to attending. This will be a fun safe environment for your dancer!
Abilities in Motion will learn one dance, and will compete at one competition.
Essence Team
Ages 18+
For dancers who want to continue their education. This is a great way to get critiques and ideas from professionals in the field of dance.
The Essence Team will learn competition dances in their classes, and will have the opportunity to perform in two dance competitions.
